Form tips

Grip and Pull

The grip is crucial in this exercise. Hold the handles with a firm but not overly tight grip. When pulling yourself up, make sure to pull with your elbows and not just your hands. This will engage your back muscles effectively. Avoid the common mistake of pulling with your biceps, which can lead to injury and less effective results.

Controlled Movement

Avoid rushing through the movement. It's important to maintain a slow and controlled pace, both when you pull yourself up and lower yourself down. This will ensure that your muscles are under tension for a longer period, thus improving the effectiveness of the exercise.
