Form tips

Proper Hand Placement

Your hand placement is critical for an effective stretch. Raise one arm and bend it so that your hand is reaching towards the opposite shoulder blade. Use your other hand to gently pull the elbow of the raised arm, enhancing the stretch.

Controlled Movements

Avoid jerky or rapid movements. These can strain or tear your muscles. Instead, perform the stretch in a slow, controlled manner. The stretch should be felt but not painful.

Consistent Breathing

Breathing is often overlooked during stretching exercises. Remember to breathe in and out steadily throughout the exercise. Holding your breath can increase blood pressure and prevent muscles from relaxing.
