Controlled Movement

When performing the shoulder adduction, it's essential to make sure you're moving your arm towards your body in a controlled and steady manner. Avoid quick, jerky movements as they can strain your shoulder muscles and potentially cause injury.

Keep Your Elbow Straight

A common mistake is to bend the elbow during the movement. Ensure your arm is straight throughout the exercise to effectively target the shoulder muscles.

Limit Your Range of Motion

Avoid forcing your arm to move further towards your body than is comfortable. Overextending can lead to injury. It's better to perform the exercise correctly within a smaller range of motion than to risk injury.
