Controlled Movements

When performing the shoulder tap, make sure to do it in a controlled manner. Avoid rushing through the movements or using momentum to lift your hand off the ground. Instead, focus on engaging your core and maintaining stability. A common mistake is to let the body twist or sway side to side during the shoulder tap.

Engage Your Core

To perform this exercise safely and effectively, it's important to engage your core throughout the entire movement. This will help you maintain balance and stability, and also protect your lower back.
