Controlled Movement

Avoid fast, jerky movements. Instead, focus on slow, controlled movements. Twist your torso to one side, keeping your arms straight. Pause, then slowly return to the starting position. This controlled movement will ensure you're effectively working your muscles and not risking injury.

Engage Your Core

To get the most out of this exercise, it's crucial to engage your core throughout the entire movement. This not only helps to increase the effectiveness of the exercise but also protects your lower back.

Avoid Overstretching

A common mistake is to stretch the band too far, which can lead to injury. Make sure the band is at a comfortable resistance level.
