Form tips
Grip the bar with your hands shoulder-width apart. Your palms should be facing upward. An incorrect grip can lead to wrist pain or injury and can also reduce the effectiveness of the exercise.
A common mistake is to move the elbows while performing the exercise. Your elbows should remain stationary, only your forearms should move. Moving your elbows can strain your shoulder and reduce the effectiveness of the exercise on your triceps.
Lower the bar in a slow and controlled manner until it is behind your head, then raise the bar back to the starting position. Avoid jerky or rapid movements, which can lead to injury and also make the exercise less
