Form tips

Avoid Using Excessive Weight

A common mistake is using a dumbbell that's too heavy. This can lead to improper form and potential injury. Start with a lighter weight to get the technique down, then gradually increase as your strength and confidence improve.

Controlled Movement

Avoid jerking or rushing the movement. This can lead to injury and doesn't effectively work the muscles. The movement should be smooth and controlled, both on the way up and down.
