Form tips

Maintain a Neutral Spine

To avoid injury, it's essential to keep your spine neutral throughout the exercise. This means avoiding rounding your back or overarching it. Instead, your back should remain straight, and your chest should be lifted.

Hinge at the Hips

The movement should primarily come from your hips, not your lower back. Push your hips back as you lower the dumbbells along your legs, keeping them close to your body. Go as far as your flexibility allows without rounding your back.

Controlled Movements

Avoid rushing the movement or using momentum to lift the weights. Instead, make sure you're using your muscles to control the up and down movements.
