Conseils techniques
One common mistake is rounding the back while trying to bend forward. This can put unnecessary strain on your back. Instead, keep your spine long and straight, hinge forward from your hips, and only go as far as comfortable. Your hands can rest on your legs, or reach towards your feet, depending on your flexibility.
If you find it difficult to sit upright with your legs wide apart, sit on a folded blanket or a yoga block. This can help tilt your pelvis forward and maintain the natural curve in your lower back. If you can't reach your feet, use a yoga strap around them and hold onto the ends.
