Conseils techniques

Avoid Arching Your Back

A common mistake is arching the back during the lift, which can lead to injury. To avoid this, engage your core and keep your back straight throughout the exercise. Squeezing your glutes can also help stabilize your body.

Don't Use Your Legs

The military press is a strict shoulder press, meaning you shouldn't use your legs to aid the lift. If you find yourself needing to use your legs, it's a sign that the weight may be too heavy.
