Traps exercises
The trapezius is the diamond-shaped muscle from skull to mid-back. Upper fibers shrug the shoulder girdle; middle fibers retract the scapula; lower fibers depress it. Shrugs, some upright rows, and scapular wall work show up when traps are the target. Face pulls and rows more often target rear delts or rhomboids; they appear here only if the catalog said so. People search “trap exercises” for upper-trap shrugs and for posture work through the mid-back. This hub keeps those together because the muscle is one unit even though the fibers run in three directions. Neck position and shrug path belong in the exercise instructions. Equipment is usually a bar, dumbbells, or a machine. This is not a neck-hypertrophy clinic and not a powerlifting accessory spreadsheet.
