Lats exercises
The latissimus dorsi is the broad muscle that adducts, extends, and internally rotates the arm — the one that makes a V-taper in a pulldown. Vertical pulls and straight-arm pulldowns are the typical targets. Rows may list lats as primary when the path is a low elbow; otherwise they live with rhomboids. This hub is for lat-primary work. Grip width and whether you pull to the chest or the hip change the line of pull; those differences are separate catalog rows, not one template with the word “wide” swapped. Bodyweight pull-ups sit next to cable and machine pulldowns so a home athlete and a gym athlete share the same anatomy page. Similar exercises prefer the same target muscle. No lat-spreads, no posing guide.
