Tibialis exercises
The tibialis anterior dorsiflexes the foot and lives on the shin, opposite the calves. Toe-raise variations, heel walks, and tib bar work appear when the catalog tagged it as the target. It is easy to miss in a legs search, which is why it has a URL. Runners look for it when they mean shin work; the atlas still only lists resistance movements, not gait coaching. Because the muscle is small, most entries are isolation. Calves stay on their own hub so this page does not mix plantarflexion with dorsiflexion. Equipment is often bodyweight or a band. Similar exercises remain on the anterior shin. No medical treatment for shin splints is offered. Discovery of catalog rows only. Published exercise counts on the page update with the catalog so this introduction stays about anatomy and equipment rather than a stale number.
